Ahead of Chandrayaan 2 launch, Indian Space Research Organisation chairman K. Sivan offered special prayers at the Sri Krishna mutt in Udupi on July 7.

According to a statement from the Palimar Mutt, Mr. Sivan and his family met the paryaya seer Vidyadheesha Tirtha and sought his blessings.

Chandrayaan 2, India’s second Moon mission, will be launched on July 15, 2019.
