Sivaganga is a parliamentary constituency in TamilNadu state comprising of 6 assembly segments Thirumayam,Alangudi,Karaikudi,Tiruppattur,Sivaganga,Manamadurai. Voters will decide the fate of the candidates contesting in Sivaganga, which goes to poll on 19th April 2024 and counting of votes will be held on June 4th . Karti P Chidambaram from INC won the parliamentary elections in 2019 with a winning margin of 30.64% . Karti P Chidambaram defeated H.Raja from BJP . INC and BJP polled a vote share of 52.2% and 21.56% respectively. In 2014 Senthilnathan Pr belonging to ADMK won the elections, while in 2009 ,Sivaganga constituency choose Chidambaram P from INC. The voter turnout in 2019 , 2014 and 2009 was 69.9% , 72.72 % and 70.97% repectively.
