Bangalore Rural is a parliamentary constituency in Karnataka state comprising of 8 assembly segments Kunigal,Anekal,Magadi,Ramanagaram,Kanakapura,Channapatna,Rajarajeshwarinagar,Bangalore South. Voters will decide the fate of the candidates contesting in Bangalore Rural, which goes to poll on 26th April 2024 and counting of votes will be held on June 4th . D.K. Suresh from INC won the parliamentary elections in 2019 with a winning margin of 12.75% . D.K. Suresh defeated Ashwathnarayangowda from BJP . INC and BJP polled a vote share of 54.15% and 41.4% respectively. In 2014 D K Suresh belonging to INC won the elections, while in 2009 ,Bangalore Rural constituency choose H.D.Kumaraswamy from JD(S). The voter turnout in 2019 , 2014 and 2009 was 64.98% , 66.44 % and 57.92% repectively.
