The Hindu, India's national newspaper, was first launched on September 20, 1878 and has covered countless events and developments that are now etched in history. From Monday to Friday, the newspaper publishes parts of two reports that were published in the paper on the same day years ago. From editorial excerpts to nation-building decisions, this section collects together reports from the yesteryears.
