Bangalore North is a parliamentary constituency in Karnataka state comprising of 8 assembly segments K.R.Pura,Byatarayanapura,Yeshvanthapura,Dasarahalli,Mahalakshmi Layout,Malleshwaram,Hebbal,Pulakeshinagar. Voters will decide the fate of the candidates contesting in Bangalore North, which goes to poll on 26th April 2024 and counting of votes will be held on June 4th . D.V. Sadananda Gowda from BJP won the parliamentary elections in 2019 with a winning margin of 9.46% . D.V. Sadananda Gowda defeated Krishna Byregowda from INC . BJP and INC polled a vote share of 52.87% and 43.41% respectively. In 2014 D.V Sadananda Gowda belonging to BJP won the elections, while in 2009 ,Bangalore North constituency choose D. B. Chandre Gowda from BJP. The voter turnout in 2019 , 2014 and 2009 was 54.76% , 56.5 % and 46.72% repectively.
