Raigarh is a parliamentary constituency in Chhattisgarh state comprising of 8 assembly segments Jashpur,Kunkuri,Lailunga,Raigarh,Sarangarh,Pathalgaon,Kharsia,Dharamjaigarh. Voters will decide the fate of the candidates contesting in Raigarh, which goes to poll on 07th May 2024 and counting of votes will be held on June 4th . Gomati Sai from BJP won the parliamentary elections in 2019 with a winning margin of 4.89% . Gomati Sai defeated Laljeet Singh Rathia from INC . BJP and INC polled a vote share of 48.76% and 43.87% respectively. In 2014 Vishnu Deo Sai belonging to BJP won the elections, while in 2009 ,Raigarh constituency choose Vishnu Deo Sai from BJP. The voter turnout in 2019 , 2014 and 2009 was 77.91% , 76.6 % and 65.31% repectively.
