Alwar is a parliamentary constituency in Rajasthan state comprising of 8 assembly segments Tijara,Kishangarh Bas,Mundawar,Behror,Alwar Rural,Alwar Urban,Ramgarh,Rajgarh Laxmangarh. Voters will decide the fate of the candidates contesting in Alwar, which goes to poll on 19th April 2024 and counting of votes will be held on June 4th . Balak Nath from BJP won the parliamentary elections in 2019 with a winning margin of 26.07% . Balak Nath defeated Bhanwar Jitendra Singh from INC . BJP and INC polled a vote share of 60.06% and 33.99% respectively. In 2014 Chand Nath belonging to BJP won the elections, while in 2009 ,Alwar constituency choose Jitendra Singh from INC. The voter turnout in 2019 , 2014 and 2009 was 67.17% , 65.31 % and 55.53% repectively.
