Jammu is a parliamentary constituency in Jammu&Kashmir state comprising of 20 assembly segments Samba,Vijay Pur,Nagrota,Gandhi Nagar,Jammu East,Jammu West,Bishnah,Ranbir Singh Pura,Suchet Garh,Marh,Raipur Domana,Akhnoor,Chhamb,Nowshera,Kala Kote,Darhal,Rajouri,Suran Kote,Mendhar. Voters will decide the fate of the candidates contesting in Jammu, which goes to poll on 26th April 2024 and counting of votes will be held on June 4th . Jugal Kishore from BJP won the parliamentary elections in 2019 with a winning margin of 20.48% . Jugal Kishore defeated Raman Bhalla from INC . BJP and INC polled a vote share of 58.02% and 37.54% respectively. In 2014 Jugal Kishore belonging to BJP won the elections, while in 2009 ,Jammu constituency choose Madan Lal Sharma from INC. The voter turnout in 2019 , 2014 and 2009 was 72.5% , 67.83 % and 49.03% repectively.
