No force on the earth can divide the AIADMK, party general secretary V K Sasikala said on Wednesday. She asserted that the party remained united.

Addressing an urgent meeting of the party legislators at the party head office following the banner of revolt raised by Chief Minister O Panneerselvam on Tuesday night, Ms Sasikala wondered what transpired in 48 hours after Mr Panneerselvam proposed her name for the post of the legislature party leader.

So far, no party functionary has given the figure of the legislators who took part in the meeting. However, it was said that 130 legislators were present at the meeting.
