How can Amit Shah preach, asks Congress

In response to reports that BJP president Amit Shah had rebuked his leaders for making divisive statements, the Congress on Monday questioned his credentials saying that his “hate-filled” speeches in Muzaffarnagar prior to the 2014 Lok Sabha elections ended up triggering deadly riots against Muslims. “He [Shah] is the same man who spread hatred against Muslims in Muzaffarnagar,” senior Congress leader Shakeel Ahmed told The Hindu . “How can he tell his leaders not to say things he has said in the past?”
