Mumbai North Central is a parliamentary constituency in Maharashtra state comprising of 6 assembly segments Vile Parle,Chandivali,Kurla,Kalina,Bandre West,Bandre East. Voters will decide the fate of the candidates contesting in Mumbai North Central, which goes to poll on 20th May 2024 and counting of votes will be held on June 4th . Poonam Mahajan from BJP won the parliamentary elections in 2019 with a winning margin of 14.42% . Poonam Mahajan defeated Dutt Priya Sunil from INC . BJP and INC polled a vote share of 53.97% and 39.55% respectively. In 2014 Gopal Chinayya Shetty belonging to BJP won the elections, while in 2009 ,Mumbai North Central constituency choose Sanjay Brijkishorlal Nirupam from INC. The voter turnout in 2019 , 2014 and 2009 was 60.09% , 53.06 % and 42.58% repectively.
