“There must be a CBI probe. It is not a coincidence that all the accused are dying of one ailment or another. There is something more to it.”
- Prashant Pandey, forensic expert and one of the whistle-blowers who exposed the scam

The body of trainee sub-inspector, Anamika Sikarwar (25), was found in the lake adjacent to the Police Training Academy in Sagar district headquarters, City Superintendent of Police (CSP) Gautam Solanki said.

Anamika was married and a resident of Morena district.

She was selected as sub-inspector through an exam conducted by Vyapam.

The cops have sealed her room in the academy and so far no suicide note has been found. The exact cause will be known after a probe, Solanki said adding initial investigations are on in the case.
