Mumbai court allows CBI to question Indrani again

The judicial custody of the three accused was extended till October 31. The CBI is allowed to interrogate them till this date.

A magistrate’s court on Monday allowed the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to further interrogate Indrani Mukherjea, her former husband Sanjeev Khanna and driver Shyamvar Rai on their jail premises in connection with the Sheena Bora murder case. The judicial custody of the three accused was extended till October 31. The CBI is allowed to interrogate them till this date.

Meanwhile, Rai is learnt to have approached the court through the jail authorities expressing a wish to reveal something to the court. The court is expected to pass a production warrant in this regard, sources said.

However, Rai's counsel Shrinivas Bhave and CBI counsel K.K. Singh said they were not ware of any such application.
