The CBI on Monday conducted searches at nine places across the country in relation to the Sheena Bora murder case. This includes three places in Mumbai, one in Goa, one in Guwahati, two in Kolkata and one in Chindwara. CBI team reached Guwahati residence of Indrani Mukherjea
Ms. Mukherjea, Bora’s mother, and two others are scheduled to be produced before a Mumbai court for further remand. The court has allowed CBI to question her at Byculla jail till her remand ends on October 19.
The CBI had earlier moved an application before a magistrate court seeking permission to interrogate Ms. Mukherjea, her former husband Sanjeev Khanna and driver Shyamvar Rai, accused in the case.
