In this session, Shweta Singh Kirti talks to Chitra Mahesh about embracing pain and surviving the death of a loved one.

Shweta Singh Kirti, a fashion designer trained at India’s National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), is a thought leader who focuses on holistic well-being and spiritual enlightenment. She is involved in several non-profit initiatives and has served on the board of OMniAwareness. She has also founded Damara Kids, an online mindfulness programme for children. Following the tragic loss of her brother, Sushant Singh Rajput, she embarked on several months of extensive solitary retreats, which gave birth to the book Pain: A Portal to Enlightenment

Chitra Mahesh is a freelance writer, PR consultant and former journalist with over 40 years of experience. Her professional journey has involved collaborations with both corporate organisations and social institutions focusing on enhancing value by blending her media experience with meaningful social initiatives in the domains of music, culture and health.
