Sreenivasan Jain is an award-winning broadcaster and journalist. He began his career in 1995 as a reporter at NDTV. When he resigned from the television channel in 2023, he was the network’s Group Editor. In a career spanning three decades, he has reported on wars, elections, insurgencies, majoritarianism, corruption scandals and democratic struggles. He has received several awards, including the Journalist of the Year at the Ramnath Goenka Awards in 2014, and at the Red Ink Awards in 2015.

N. Ram, Director of The Hindu Publishing Group and former Editor-in-Chief of The Hindu and Frontline, is a political journalist with literary interests. He has written on a range of socio-political subjects, and specialised in investigative journalism. He was elected president of the Contemporary India Section of the 72nd session of the Indian History Congress (2011). He has received several awards, including the Padma Bhushan (for journalism) in 1990; the Sri Lanka Ratna (2005); the Asian Investigative Journalist of the Year Award from the Press Foundation of Asia (1990); the B.D. Goenka Award for Excellence in Journalism (1989); XLRI’s first JRD Tata Award for Business Ethics (2002); the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism’s Alumni Award (2003); and the Raja Ram Mohan Roy Award for contributions to journalism from the Press Council of India (2018). 

Pratik Sinha is co-founder Alt News, and formerly a software engineer who worked over a decade in wireless and embedded systems

Ziya Us Salam is a veteran journalist and he works at The Hindu as an Associate Editor. He is also an author. His latest book Being Muslim in Hindu India is a bestseller. His upcoming book is The Lion of Naushera
