Pretty in red: Watermelon popsicle.

Why wait for the ice cream cart when you can make your own fruit popsicle!

Watermelon popsicle

Ingredients

> Watermelon – 2 cups (cubed)

> Sugar – 4 tbsp

> Choco chips – 1 tbsp

Method

Remove the rind and seeds of the watermelon, and cut it into cubes.

Blend the watermelon cubes and sugar without water. Use a sieve and strain it.

Pour the juice into a popsicle mould or any other cup. Fill ¾ of the mould.

Add the choco chips and mix well.

Close the mould and freeze for 10 hours or overnight.

After four hours, give it a stir to avoid the choco chips being deposited at the bottom of the mould.

After 10 hours remove from the freezer and hold it under running water for a minute. Now remove the popsicle from the mould and serve it immediately.

Note: You can use honey instead of sugar. You can add 1 tsp of lemon juice also.
