CBI conducts narco tests in Badaun case

June 30, 2014 02:41 am | Updated November 16, 2021 06:45 pm IST - MEERUT:

The CBI, which is investigating the Badaun gang rape and murder case, has conducted narco tests on five accused persons including two policemen.

The parents of the victims have reportedly consented and will be put to the test soon, highly placed sources said.

The CBI wants to rule out allegations from the families of the main accused that though their son Pappu Yadav had raped one of the girls he did not murder them.

“The rapists very much left the two cousins alive,” they had said.

The cousins had gone missing on May 27 and their bodies were found hanging from a mango tree in a grove about 250 metres from their house the next morning.
