Ashish Kaushik, the physio at the National Cricket Academy, will join the Indian team during the tour of the West Indies.
Kaushik has been at the academy for more than a year and prior to that he was the head-physio at the Essex County CC in England.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India has decided to give regular physio Nitin Patel a break due to the extended workload right from the World Cup.
