India-A defeated New Zealand-A by 75 runs in the third one-dayer to complete a 3-0 sweep on Tuesday. Batting first, India made 276 and shot out the Kiwis for 200.
India got off to a good start with openers Ishan Kishan and Anmolpreet Singh adding 68. Ishan was trapped in front by Doug Bracewell for 39 (54b, 4x4, 1x6) but Anmolpreet continued the good work in the company of Ankeet Bawane (48, 7x4), the two adding 64 for the fourth wicket.
Vijay Shankar (42, 43b, 4x4) and Axar Patel (31, 29b, 2x4) helped India sustain the momentum and reach 275 for eight.
Chasing a target of 276, only Tim Seifert (55, 4x4, 1x6) and Mitchell (30, 1x6) offered some resistance. Siddharth Kaul was the pick of the bowlers with four scalps while K. Gowtham took two.
