The Hindu Young World wins Gold at WAN-IFRA Asian Media Awards 2023

More than 10 campaigns were carried out to promote the special issues of Young World through the year to keep up with the trends and provide readers with insights into specific topics

The Hindu Young World won gold at the WAN-IFRA Asian Media Awards 2023 under the ‘Best in Newspaper Marketing’ category.  More than 10 campaigns were carried out to promote the special issues of Young World through the year to keep up with the trends and provide readers with insights into specific topics. The Hindu Young World’s special issue-specific campaign in print advertisements, social media promotions and direct mailers helped increase readership base significantly.

Speaking about the award, Sridhar Aranala, Vice President — Sales and Distribution, The Hindu Group, said, “This award is an acknowledgement and validation of The Hindu Group’s efforts to reach our young readers in new and innovative ways. While the Young World created a pull towards physical reading with the right balance of regular and special issues throughout the year, Young World Club ensured that children are meaningfully engaged during their screen time.
