The Minister tested positive for COVID-19 on August 2 and later tested negative on August 14.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah is likely to be discharged in a short time, officials of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi said on Saturday. He was admitted for post COVID-19 care on August 18 .

“Amit Shah is admitted at AIIMS, New Delhi for post COVID Care. He has recovered and is likely to be discharged in a short time,” Aarti Vij, chairperson of AIIMS’ media and protocol division, said.

The Minister tested positive for COVID-19 on August 2 and later tested negative on August 14.

“Mr. Shah, was brought in with complaints of fatigue and bodyache. He was continuing his work from hospital,” hospital officials said.
