Hundreds of readers and concerned citizens have submitted their responses, many of them containing multiple proposals, to The Hindu 's call for ideas from the public on how best the sprawling complex at Omandurar Estate on Anna Salai, originally meant to house the Secretariat and the Legislative Assembly of Tamil Nadu, could be put to use in a way that citizens could claim the public space as their own. Readers can continue to e-mail ideas to ourbuilding@thehindu.co.in or write in to Project ‘Our Building,' The Hindu , Kasturi Buildings, 859 & 860 Anna Salai, Chennai 600002, but it is time to put a closing date for receiving proposals. Entries will be received until Wednesday, (August 17).
