Nitish opposes fuel price hike

Bihar Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar on Saturday vehemently opposed the hike in prices of diesel, kerosene and LPG said it would further affect the common people.

“I strongly oppose the hike in the prices of diesel, kerosene and LPG... it will further impact and affect the miseries of common people,” Mr. Kumar told reporters.

Stating that the Congress was “synonymous” with price spiral, he said whenever Congress came to power, prices of essential commodities had gone up.

JD(U) will launch a protest against the Centre’s decision,” he said.
