Case filed against former Vyapam official

In its ongoing probe into the Vyapam scam, the CBI has registered yet another case against 30 accused persons, including the then Controller of Exam-inations, and instituted two preliminary enquiries.

“The case was registered against Pankaj Trivedi, the then Vyapam Controller of Examinations, former system analyst Nitin Mohindra and others, for alleged illegalities in the Madhya Pradesh Junior Food Supplies Officer and Inspector, Weights & Measurements recruitment examination in 2012,” said a CBI official.

“The first preliminary enquiry is into the alleged unnatural death of Ramendra Singh Bhadoriya, a resident of Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh, in January,” said the official. The second preliminary enquiry is related to the death of another accused Deepak Jain in February last year.
