A day after it published the answer keys for the Postgraduate Entrance Test (PGET), the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) on Wednesday announced that the results of the exam conducted on March 3 will be announced on May 19.

The decision follows the Supreme Court’s direction to private colleges and other examination authorities to announce the results of the various entrance tests for admissions to medical and dental courses.

The Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has already announced that it will announce the results of the PGET conducted by it on May 20.

According to the new calendar of RGUHS, the last date for challenging the key answers by subject experts (hosted on the RGUHS website on May 14) is May 17. Subject experts will verify the objections on May 18 and the revised answer keys, along with the results will be announced on May 19.

The last date for applying for retotalling for marks is May 20, while the announcement of the revised marks list and merit list will be made on May 21.

The counselling for dental courses will be held on May 23, for medical courses (for general and physically handicapped categories) from May 24 to 26, and for in-service candidates for medical courses on May 27.
