In this session, Arjun Appadurai examines why is the world moving towards the right.

Arjun Appadurai is a noted educationalist and teaches about media, culture and communication. He is the Emeritus Professor in Media, Culture and Communication at New York University. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and was a Member of the UNESCO Commission on The Futures of Education. He has authored numerous books and scholarly articles, and his books have been translated into French, German, Spanish and other languages.
