Café 115 at the Oakwood Residence in Gachibowli is one of those little holes in the wall you happen across when you least expect it. While residents of the hotel will frequent the eatery for its proximity, city dwellers will find delight when walking into the pretty interiors.
An ideal place to finish off that little extra work before you head off to work, Café 115 offers a dichotomy of food choices: typical continental and desi nibbles.
Creatively pleasing
- USP Continental comfort food
- Hours 7:30am - 11pm
- Place Oakwood Residence, Gachibowli
Upon just stepping in, the hospitality is warm, reflective of the clever and mindful decor, reminding one of a pretty Pinterest project.
The brick facades and the ambient lighting add touches of industrial chic.
It’s sadly common that café culture in Hyderabad doesn’t comprise the best service but this place defies that notion, with its smiling and attentive staff.
Bountiful bites
The eating house is not just for breakfasts, with some of the menu diverse enough for afternoon snacking; be it the shredded lamb sandwich or the indulgent oreo chocolate milkshake.
Café 115 also offers reasonable rates for those rushing off to college as well — we all know getting to Gachibowli eats up the wallet.
The food is also prepared with various dietary needs and preferences in mind — it took a couple of visits to indulge in a detoxing yet energising muesli with berry parfait as well as a classic Mumbai toastie. All fruit and vegetables on the menu are fresh and Café 115 is mindful to let the ingredients speak for themselves.
And what breakfast experience is complete without a stack of waffles with a smattering of choice toppings? Baked to a delightful and slightly sweet crisp, the waffles are a great kick-starter to the day and not like the overdone and sickeningly sweet ones that other places in the city boast.
On your way out, be sure to grab a couple of cookies from their spectrum of baked goods; particularly the soft centre cookies which are bound to push you deeper into a food coma.
Averaging at around ₹180 per person (and you’ll be well-fed by the time you pay the bill), the consistency in taste and presentation make Café 115 a place worth coming back to.
