Charminar, the indisputable icon of the 400-year-old city, has found a place of pride in what is being claimed as the World's Largest Atlas.

‘Earth Platinum', the prestigious world atlas being published by Millennium House, Australia, will feature Charminar's picture clicked by a city photographer D.Ravinder Reddy.

The photo presents a wide-angle panoramic view of the monumental edifice which also includes Mecca Masjid prominently.

World atlas

Earth Platinum is a comprehensive world atlas, featuring a world map for each of the thematic topics, a world time-zone map, maps of Europe, Canada, USA, Australia and India among others, website of Millennium House describes.

A limited edition of 128 pages and weighing 120 kg., the book will present state-of-the art cartography, geography, and oceanography, and offer a window to the world we live today, both politically and geographically, it says.

It includes the craftsmanship of more than 100 international cartographers, geographers and photographers.
