Director Soundarya R. Ashwin has announced that the first teaser of her father and Tamil superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming period film “Kochadaiyaan” will be unveiled on September 9.
The film will mark Soundarya’s debut as a director.
“Excited to announce ‘Kochadaiyaan’ teaser will release this September 9,” Soundarya posted on Twitter.
“Kochadaiyaan” also stars Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone alongside R. Sarathkumar, Aadhi, Shobana, Rukmini Vijayakumar, Jackie Shroff and Nassar.
The film’s music has been composed by Oscar winner A.R. Rahman.
“Kochadaiyaan” will be dubbed and simultaneously released in Telugu (as “Vikrama Simha”), Malayalam and English.
The film is expected to hit theatres this November.
