Kingfisher Airlines has further extended its partial lock-out until October 20 as the airline could not persuade the striking employees to join back duty without getting any salary. The partial lock-out was declared for four days from October 1 to 4. Then the airline had extended it till October 12, with the hope to find a solution to the employee unrest. Now, it has been extended again. The DGCA’s show cause deadline ends on October 19.

“At this time, the airline is hopeful of resuming operations starting October 21,” Kingfisher Airlines said in a statement.
