AirAsia goes on a promotional binge

AirAsia has offered two million (20 lakh) promotional seats with all inclusive fare starting from Rs.522 from Kuala Lumpur to all destinations of its network, the low-cost airline said on Monday.

From India, all inclusive fares start from as low as Rs.3,300 one way from Kolkata/Chennai to Bangkok. Similarly, seats have been offered at all-inclusive-fare of Rs.4,000 from Bangalore/Chennai/Kochi/Kolkata/Tiruchirappalli to Kuala Lumpur, the airline said.

Domestic destinations

All-inclusive fare of Rs.522 from Kuala Lumpur has been offered to domestic destinations such as Alor Setar, Langkawi, Penang, Kota Bharu, Kuching and more; while international destinations from Kuala Lumpur such as Singapore, Hatyai, Krabi, Surat Thani, Phnom Penh, Bangkok, Bandung, Siem Reap and many more start from Rs.1,042 one-way.

These promotional seats are available for booking online at AirAsia’s website from Monday onwards till July 14. Travel is valid from February 10 to August 5, 2014. The cheap fares are part of the airline’s celebrations on being named the World’s Best Low Cost Carrier for five consecutive years by Skytrax. AirAsia X, the long-haul low fare affiliate of the AirAsia Group, is also offering all-in promotional fares from Kuala Lumpur to its long-haul destinations from as low as Rs.3,735 to Korea (Seoul, Busan), Rs.4,310 to Taiwan (Taipei) and to China (Chengdu, Hangzhou, Beijing, Shanghai), Rs.4,885 to Nepal, Rs.5,076 to Japan (Osaka, Tokyo), Rs.5,268 to Australia (Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Gold Coast) and Rs.11,397 to Saudi Arabia (Jeddah).
