Former International cricket umpire M.I. Mohd. Ghouse (83) passed away on Monday morning following a brief illness. He is survived by wife, son and three daughters.

A BCCI Test and ODI panel umpire, he officiated in eight Test matches and two One-Day Internationals. Ghouse also served as the chairman of the umpires’ sub-committees of the TNCA.

The TNCA, in a statement, expressed grief.
