Praveen Kumar said that he was optimistic of getting the hat-trick against Rajasthan Royals here on Thursday.
“After I got the second wicket, I thought I could get a hat-trick.
“I just decided to bowl a length ball and I thought if he (Paras Dogra) hits it, it's okay but if he misses I will get him. Our plans worked well tonight,” said Praveen after playing a key role in Royal Challengers Bangalore's ten-wicket victory.
Jacques Kallis, who played his part in both bowling and batting, said that RCB has got the momentum.
He said that the players had worked on surprising Yusuf Pathan with short-pitched deliveries.
Meanwhile Rajasthan Royals' skipper Shane Warne conceded that his team was completely outplayed.
“It was a good 200-plus wicket but we were bowled out for 92 and there was nothing much we could do. Bangalore deserved to win.
“They bowled their bouncers on the money against Yusuf but he is a good player and whenever he gets the ball in his range, he will keep smashing it beyond the park,” said Warne.
He added: “Don't give up on us yet!”
