25 CRPF men killed in Maoist attack

Twenty-six Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) men were killed on Monday in an encounter with Maoists in Chhattisgarh’s Sukma district, Additional Director General of Police R.K.Vij  said. Six jawans are reportedly missing.

PDP leader shot dead by militants at Pulwama

Preliminary reports suggest that advocate Abdul Ghani Dar was travelling in a car when militants alighted on the main road between Kakapora and Pinglana area, Pulwama district, and fired at him from close range. Police sources said three bullets hit Mr. Dar who succumbed to injuries in the hospital.
