Goa Tourism will hold a three-day cultural festival, The Spirit of Goa 2018, from April 6 to 8.

The festival will revolve around Goa’s coconut and cashew crops used in a variety of products, cuisine, beverages and handicrafts.

The festival will also have live demos on distilling of cashew and coconut juice into Goa’s much relished heritage brew ‘feni’. Besides authentic Goan food, dishes made with coconuts and cashew will be served at the festival.

Workshops and more

A variety of exciting programmes, entertainment, workshops and competitions are planned for the event. The festival will feature music ranging from timeless Konkani and Portuguese classics to contemporary English Latin styles with jazz and funk rhythms and Konkani pop.

Visitors can also enjoy the experience of a ride on ‘hop on, hop off’ buses that will serve the venue — D.B . Bandodkar Grounds in Campal, Panjim — on all three days.
