But Chief Minister assures workers of full protection
In yet another quit notice to migrants in Manipur, proscribed underground organisations have set a December 31 deadline for stopping engaging of “outsiders” in commercial activities and renting houses and shops. However, Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh has assured migrant workers of full protection.
The warning was issued by the CorCom, an umbrella body of the Kangleipak Communist Party, the Kanglei Yawol Kunna Lup, the People’s Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK), PREPAK (Pro), the Revolutionary People’s Front, the United People’s Party of Kangleipak and the United National Liberation Front.
