In a minor administrative reshuffle, the Rajasthan Government has transferred seven senior IAS officers and handed over additional charge of posts falling vacant due to shifting to three others.

Principal Industries Secretary C. S. Rajan has been shifted as Principal Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Secretary, replacing Ram Khiladi Meena who has been transferred as Principal Cooperative Secretary.

Chandra Mohan Meena, who was earlier Principal Cooperative Secretary, has been transferred as Principal Medical Education Secretary while the Chairman and Managing Director of Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam, Rajat Kumar Mishra, has been shifted as Secretary to the Chief Minister.

The State Commissioner, National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme, Rajendra Bhanawat, who took several initiatives for the flagship programme during his tenure, has been shifted as Managing Director of the Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO).

The present incumbent in RIICO, Sunil Arora, goes as Principal Industries Secretary while retaining his position as RIICO Chairman. His position as the Managing Director has been taken over by Mr. Bhanawat.

Rajasthan Urban Infrastructure Development Project (RUIDP) Managing Director Dinesh Kumar has been shifted as Special Secretary to the Chief Minister.

According to the official orders, Special Secretary (Energy) Naresh Pal Gangwar will look after the work of the Chairman and Managing Director, Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam, while the Secretary, Local-Self Government, R. Venkateshwaran, will look after the work of RUIDP Managing Director.

Similarly, Rural Development Secretary Alok will look after the work of the Commissioner, National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme, as an additional charge till further orders.
