A day after reports said the NEET-II question paper for admission to medical and dental courses had been “leaked” in Uttarakhand, the CBSE said on Monday that the leaked paper was different from the actual question paper.
“The material seized by the Uttarakhand police from the persons involved in cheating were provided to the CBSE and the same was matched by the Board with the original question paper.
“The seized material is entirely different from the original question paper of NEET-II. This was an attempt made by some unscrupulous elements to cheat the candidates on false promises,” according to a release from the CBSE.
