The Odisha government appointed a doctor as Director of Medical Education and Training (DMET).
The government posted Prakash Chandra Mohapatra, Principal and Dean of SCB Medical College as DMET replacing Babaji Charan Das, an OAS officer, said a statement of Health and Family Welfare department here on Friday.
Exactly a week ago, death of the mothers had occurred in quick succession at the government-run VSS Medical College Hospital, Burla.
The expert team has ruled out drug reaction as cause for the deaths.
