The Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee staged a rally here on Wednesday to protest against the “undemocratic and vindictive actions” of the BJP-led NDA government against the Congress government in Arunachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Party workers and leaders took part in the rally from the Congress Bhavan to Lower PMG Square on the Mahatma Gandhi Marg where they burnt effigies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah.

The protestors also raised slogans against Mr. Modi and Mr. Shah calling their actions anti-democratic and vindictive in nature.

The rally was led by AICC general secretary in-charge of Odisha B. K. Hariprasad, OPCC president Prasad Harichandan and other senior leaders.
