Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood, Steve O’Keefe and Nathan Lyon were all among the wickets as Australia dismissed Sri Lanka for just 117 after Angelo Mathews had won the toss and decided to bat first in the first Test at Pallekele.
Australia were 66 for two in their first innings after rain washed out the entire third session of play.

Inderjeet fails drug test
Rio-bound shotputter Inderjeet Singh became the second Indian to fail a drug test in recent days as the Indian Olympic squad were dealt another huge blow. Inderjeet’s ‘A’ sample has tested positive for a banned substance and his ‘B’ sample is set to be tested immediately.
Manoj keeps on punching
Despite struggling to find sponsors and finding it hard to obtain the promised promotions in his job, Olympics-bound Manoj Kumar reiterated his commitment to the sport and vowed that he’ll do his best in his boxing category (64kg).

Shapovalov defeats Kyrgios
Wimbledon junior champion Denis Shapovalov got the better of a rusty Nick Kyrgios, defeating him 7-6 (7/2), 3-6, 6-3 in the first round of the Toronto Masters.
At Montreal, Petra Kvitova and Samantha Stosur progressed to the second round even as rain delays stopped play for close to four hours.
