Police and paramilitary forces took out flag march across Moradabad sensing communal tensions during the holy Ramadan month. Police officials marched the streets with Rapid Action Force (RAF) in an effort to check any suspicious activity in the city. Residents watched as security vehicles went past their homes, their sirens blaring. Police said they wanted to reassure citizens that there was no need to worry.
