Legendary music director MS Viswanathan passed away at a Chennai hospital on Tuesday morning. One of the most popular music composers of south Indian cinema, fondly referred to as MSV was reportedly undergoing treatment for old-age related ailments and breathing problems before his condition deteriorated. Though he had showed signs of recovery after initial treatment and was almost ready to be taken back home, his condition deteriorated last week. Viswanathan has a huge body of work in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam with over 750 films.
