The 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup, a one day international cricket tournament, was jointly hosted by Australia and New Zealand, and took place between February 14 and March 29, 2015. Australia won this edition of the tournament by 7 wickets, beating New Zealand to lift the trophy. This was Australia's fifth World Cup win. The championship is hosted by the International Cricket Council once every four years.
