American Mardy Fish moved into the top ten of the world tennis rankings released on Monday by the governing body ATP.
Fish moved to a career-high 10th place, pushing out Spain’s Fernando Verdasco, who was ranked eighth last week.
Rafael Nadal, who picked up a seventh straight title at the Monte Carlo Masters on Sunday, continues to lead the rankings by more than 3,000 points from Serbian Novak Djokovic. Nadal has 12,870 points, while Djokovic stands on 9,640.
