One of the leading crowd-pullers of the Pune racing season, the S.A. Poonawalla Multi-Milion, is scheduled to be run on Sunday (Sept. 16).
The Grade II race, run over a mile, belongs to the troika of races which herald the arrival of another champion who exhibits the ability and form to aspire for future Classics. It is also the richest race for three-year-olds with the winner guaranteed more than ₹1.2 million.
In addition to above, the Poonawalla Group has sponsored yet one more million race on that day — the Villoo C. Poonawlla Million.
The Poonawallas will be giving away prizes worth ₹4 lakh in a contest of skill. The lucky winner will drive home a Hyundai Eon Car or take away a LED TV or a laptop. Participants, who will get a free contest form, will have to correctly nominate the first four horses in the order of finishing in the S.A. Poonawalla Multi-Million.
