HRC to celebrate golden jubilee

The Hyderabad Race Club (HRC) will celebrate its golden jubilee on September 17 and 18. Established in 1961, it has grown to become one of the premier racing centres of the country with state-of-the-art facilities for horses and patrons.

To mark the occasion, the club will host the HRC Golden Jubilee Commemoration Cup, a mile-long race for three-year-olds and over on Sunday along with the President of India Gold Cup Group I. Competitive fields are expected for both. A carried over jackpot pool amount of Rs. 10 lakh will be added on the above-mentioned day.

The HRC will also organise a contest of skill for all patrons attending the Sunday gala. Participation forms will be distributed at the entrance gates. The first prize will be a Maruti Alto LXI car, the second a TVS Wego scooter and the third an LG 32” LCD TV.
