Team India winds up camp

February 18, 2013 11:30 pm | Updated November 16, 2021 10:25 pm IST - Bangalore:

India’s preparatory camp for the Australia Test series concluded at the National Cricket Academy here on Monday.

The team wound up its three-day camp with a single, afternoon session in the nets. With the exception of the captain M.S. Dhoni, who was not seen batting outdoors, the players went through their routines at the NCA.

Pragyan Ojha and Ashok Dinda, emphatically tail-enders, had long periods with the bat, the latter under the supervision of the bowling coach Joe Dawes.

The three-day camp offered no explicit clues on the composition of the side for the first Test.

The team is scheduled to leave for Chennai, the venue for the series-opener, on Tuesday.
