Sri Lanka cricket captain Mahela Jayawardene won the toss and elected to bat against Pakistan in an Asia Cup match here today.

Lasith Malinga returned to the Sri Lankan team in place of Chamara Kapugedera.

Pakistan brought in Hammad Azam to get more options in medium pace bowling.
